The first annual meeting of the Understanding Cluster – Tumor-Host Interactions was succesfully organised in Barcelona on January 31, 2025, hosted by THRIVE and IDIBAPS. Innovation Acta played a key role in organizing the meeting and actively contributing to discussions on the key topics covered by the meeting.

This milestone event marked a key step in our collective mission to unravel the complexities of tumor-host interactions and drive innovation in cancer research. Representatives from all six projects within the Cluster (THRIVE, MULTIR, GLIOMATCH, ARTURO, SPACETIME) and the HaDEA Project Officer Marianne Da Silva came together for insightful discussions on critical topics, including:

 Communication and Dissemination
 Research and Innovation
 Addressing Inequalities
 Citizen and Patient Engagement

Through inspiring keynotes, engaging panel discussions, and collaborative networking sessions, we explored new opportunities to accelerate progress and maximize the impact of our research. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing our journey toward meaningful scientific advancements
