THRIVE at the annual meeting of the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA)

Investigators of THRIVE presented their research advances at the 19^th edition of ILCA congress in Hong-Kong from 19 to 21 November 2025.

Prof. Jessica Zucman-Rossi (INSERM, UPCITE) presented past, present and future of ILCA legacy in a main session of the congress and chaired a General Session on Molecular Pathogenesis, Cell Biology and Translational Research. She also presented an update on the genetic mutations that predispose to cholangiocarcinoma, setting the state of the art in the field. Prof. Josep M Llovet (IDIBAPS-Hospital Clinic) and Dr Marta Piqué-Gili (IDIBAPS-Hospital Clinic) presented a study identifying unique patterns of responders to atezolizumab + bevacizumab in advanced HCC as per spatial transcriptomics analysis.
